Our View of Crypto

We believe blockchain technologies are forming the underpinnings of a new financial system, akin to how the internet formed the underpinnings of a new information infrastructure. Digital assets have shown exponential growth but are still in their early stages. The rate of crypto adoption currently mirrors the adoption of the internet circa 1999.

The crypto market can be overwhelming. With thousands of coins, spread across hundreds of chains, and dozens of sectors, it can be difficult to know where to begin, let alone how to outperform the market while minimizing the risk of extreme volatility.

Investment Strategy

Dasein has a 3 prong strategy that is consistent with the emerging energy of the space.

The space today is driven by consensus and speculation, as such, we look for broad bull/bear momentum reversals and make sector-specific bets. Our long/short approach allows us to identify risk-adjusted opportunities throughout both market up-cycles and down-cycles.
Dasein invests in DeFi yield with hedged downside protection to deliver better than market risk-weighted returns and to maximize capital efficiency.
We track emerging projects and make important bets on protocols that are disruptive and have strong real-world use cases.
